I had a successful Mother’s Day Tea at Kyra’s school and managed to hit the road straight from there. I had smooth sailing the whole way, but decided to play it safe and take the 407 across Toronto. Well, that was a mistake L I ended up sitting for about 45 minutes in construction traffic. I HATE paying to sit in traffic!! I ended up being a bit late for the vet check, but they still took me anyway. Rio got her required tick/flea/worm/health check and her final paperwork signed.

We had an informal team dinner and then headed over to Susan & John’s place. They graciously opened their home to any out-of-town guests. We had a fantastic thunderstorm all night, but Rio and I slept really well.

I’m about to head out to our day of team meetings/ practice at McCann’s. Rio is rarin’ to go and looking fabulous thanks to her absolute favourite groomers at Pam’s Pooch Parlour!! (Okay, she now has a greasy spot on her back from where the vet applied Avantix to her, but the rest of her looks great!).

I’m having internet connection problems right now, but hopefully will be able to send this at some point today…..
