Heading Out of Town
Time, as usual, has flown by and tomorrow I head out for our team practice at Say Yes on Thursday morning. We practice all day Thursday and then again on Friday morning before our flight leaves out of Toronto at 5pm. As of today, all of Rio's stuff seems under control. Dr. Miki has been great to stamp and re-stamp and sign and re-sign all my paperwork! I paid my $20 to have the Federal Vet put his little stamp on all of my forms. She's been groomed and is looking great. My stuff on the other hand, still needs to be packed and I doubt there's any time left for me to go to the human groomer!
) I also need to head to the library to get some books on Finland—I just realized that I really don't know much about the country!
For all of you who like to do multiple blog watching (don't worry, I won't tell your boss Lynne!), one of my CAT teammates also has a blog: http://happystaffy.livejou rnal.com
Also, there should be videos of all the Canadian and US competitors runs at: http://fciagility2008.cleanrun.com/ Apparently its sponsored by Clean Run.
Thanks to everyone who supported my Agility Enthusiast's Dream of a Lifetime. Wish I could have given away more Grand Prizes, but congratulations to Fred Waters for winning the big prize. I'm sure Ghillie will appreciate all the runs! Second prize of a physio assessment by Carrie Smith and nail trims at Pam's Pooch Parlour went to Tony Starratt and Third prize of an hour human massage from Kemptville Physio & Massage went to Janet Lundy.
Another big thank you to my parents, my in-laws and Nan Keder for your donations to Rio & I.
I will hopefully be able to keep up daily blog entries providing the hotel has internet service like it says it does!
